Jeffrey Risberg

Jeffrey Risberg has over 25 years of experience developing products that either create or redefine their industry. As Chief Scientist at TIBCO Software, he created TIBCO's MarketSheet real-time portal and technology for the company's industry-leading Enterprise Application Integration software. As one of the first twenty people at TIBCO, he helped grow the company to more than 1,500 people, guided it through a successful IPO with a market cap today of $1.8 billion, and worked side by side with the chief executive officer to penetrate new market opportunities. As a Senior Computer Scientist with Advanced Decision Systems, Mr. Risberg developed software and carried out projects on decision-support and planning for DARPA and classified U.S. government agencies. Over the years, he worked as Software Development Manager for New England Digital Corporation, which developed real-time digital music production synthesizers and workstations used in the motion picture industry; and developed signal processing and information extraction software for sonar applications while at Bolt Beranek and Newman. Mr. Risberg was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from Brown University; a Masters of Science in Engineering and Applied Sciences from Yale University; and a Sloan Executive MBA from Stanford University School of Business. Mr. Risberg also was an instructor at Princeton University.
